Later on, he switched to the human resources field, combining video and audio expertise with artificial intelligence to create a new field of human resources.

He is currently a professor at the Institute of Human Resource Management, National Central University, and has a Ph.D. in Cognitive and Computer Science from the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Illinois, USA. He specializes in e-management of human resources, human resource data analysis, e-learning, leadership and management development, talent management, performance management, and employee experience management.
He was a researcher in the Data and Simulation Systems Department of the Southwest Research Center in Texas, an associate professor in the Department of Teaching and Learning at Tamkang University, an associate professor, professor, and director of the Institute of Human Resource Management at National Central University, an international certified consultant for SAP HR modules, and an International Coach Federation (ICF) Certified Corporate Coach. He has served as a director and supervisor of the Chinese Human Resource Management Association and the chairman of the Chinese Career Planning Exchange Association, and has led the implementation of human resource projects for more than 50 listed counter companies in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
He has co-authored with other scholars and HR practitioners the books “High-Tech Human Resource Management”, “12 Lessons in Human Resource Management”, “Human Resource e-Management”, “Talent Management Strategy”, “Introduction to Enterprise Resource Planning”, and “Business Intelligence and Big Data Analysis”, etc. He is also a certified corporate coach.

He has more than 10 years of experience as a senior HR executive in the financial industry and has been responsible for the implementation of multinational HR information systems. He is responsible for leading an industry-academia collaboration project on the development of AI cloud-based artificial intelligence interviewing tools at the National Taiwan Normal University, and is also the moderator of the Ministry of Science and Technology’s AI interviewing research program. He is also the honorary director of IHRCI, and teaches HR Analytics, Digital Transformation, and e-HRM at the University of Hong Kong’s SPACE School of Business, the Taipei National University of Science and Technology’s EMBA, and the Artificial Intelligence School of Taiwan, as well as at the Council of Information Industry (CII). He also teaches HR Analytics, Digital Transformation, and e-HRM at SPACE Business School at the University of Hong Kong, EMBA at Taipei University of Technology, Taiwan Artificial Intelligence School, and IISI. His research areas include deep learning, data analytics, and social media applications in HR management.

He is currently a professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at National Chiao Tung University, where he specializes in audio-video processing, networked telecommunication systems, Internet of Things platforms, neural-like networks, and artificial intelligence. In his current role, Prof. Huang continues to uphold the spirit of “do-it-yourself” in the field of science and technology, and continues to cultivate more technological professionals on campus.
